My Little Butterfly

Today a little butterfly flew by me.
I thought to myself where have you been little butterfly.
You come into this world as a cocoon all by yourself and blossom into
this beautiful butterfly and fly off to see the world.
What you don’t realize little butterfly as you flutter through your days
is how you touch those around you in your soft gentle way.
You don’t even realize the wonder and awe you create around you.
She fluttered her wings toward me as if she was waving good-by as she
headed towards the horizon.
She looked very happy and content as she went on her way, as if to say
to me “Don’t worry I’ll be okay”.
I was sad to see her go for she had touched my heart in such a way that
I knew my life would never be the same.
She had left an imprint of all the beauty life has to offer.
I knew each time I looked at another butterfly or horizon I would
remember our moment in time when it was only her and I.
I knew I would be a better person all because this little butterfly flew by
me one bright sunny day.

	In loving memory of (N) Purrferinas Felix Fumbles. 28.05.209 - 28.03.2010 Felix's time on earth was too soon over. He became 10 months old. Today I got a very very sad call from Holland. Felix had met with an serious illness and was taken to the vet. Unfortunately, it was to late for little Felix - he was too ill.

	BERAK-show 20/21 February I brought 3 cats to the show. On day one - the 20'th - I showed Chanti and Liten. Both got exellent showremarks and was praised by the judgjes.. But aperantly Chanti is a SBI b 21 afterall... and if I change her papiers she will lose all her certs. I have allways found it starnge that she got changed into a SBI n 21 in the first place as she always was fair and warm in the colour... oh well - guess this just proves once again that what you think is what is important and that we should not let the judges deside what we always thing about our cats,..... Liten got Best in Variety TOTAL ( she is at this time 6,5 month old, and just starting in her class 11. So I am very exited for this. And she also became Nominated for panel - so exellent show for her. On the second day - the 21'st - I had Susi and Liten with me. Susi and Liten are both bluepointed and all I needed was for Susi to get her one sert in CACIB - then she can relax for a while untill we go to Sweden for her International Champion certification. Susi got her cert and was up for BIV and NOM... but lost the BIV to Liten ;) Who once again got her Best in Variety TOTAL. and the Nominaiton to Linda Reiersens Norwegian forest cat... who is just more or less unbeatable. Liten as I said got her BIV Total,.. and she also where up for Nomination for panel,.. but lost to a Norwegain forest cat... It was an all in all good show. Many thanks to the wonderfull people arranged the show - and also to new friends that I made those days. Good to know you :)

	This weekend has really been a huge surprice for me and also a sign that I am on the right way with my cattery. There were an huge amount of Birmans in this big show with over 300 cats represented. Hansakatten show results : Saturday 14.11.2009 Susi and Chanti both became Champions. Fie and Susi both became BIV blue Birmas. Fie for kittens and youngsters and Susi for the grown up girls and boys :) Fie became nominated as judge Veikko Saarela (FIN) best kitten 6-10 monthes!! Sunday 15.11.2009 Susi and Chanti both got their first CACIB- sert. Fie took BIV from Susi and 4 other blue Birmans. Chanti took the nomination from Susi and 4 other females as judge Michael Edstøm (S) best female. Bentley also came along - remember he is not for show as he is missing a gauntlet. He got ex4 both days.. he got comments like: ex kropp, form og bredde på hode, jevn og fin panne -velformede og velplasserte ører, lovende - sterk og snill... SUPER DUPER from Raymond :)) Also Stephan had only good to say about Bentley: Ex strong skull ex full cheeks ex profil, ex eyes - color and shape, ex small ears low set and rounded ex strong body, fur and boning.. all over.. only not on his markings. :))))

	Sometimes in life it is fare and in between your luck - and you feel nothing happens the way it is supposed to...and then somethimes in life you hit the winning jack pot twice in a row!! (S) Raushöjden's Blue Lucinda Only 2 kittens have been sold with this exclusive combination from Lena Ekbergs in catergori 1. She is from her controlled breeding experiment started from 2001- and therefore very special. I am eternally thankfull to Lena and Gjøran. It has been a long way, but we first spoke the first time before I bought my first girl birman Lilly from Switzerland, and now: years later I am the lucky owner of a beautyfull and sweet, open expresioned Blue Birman girl, with an amazing pedegree and playfull and naugthy personalety. Blue Lucinda is to be joining showes all over Norway, and will be the new baseline of Purrferinas Sacred Birmans in the years to come together with Fie and Bentley. I can not thank you enough Lena and Gjøran.

	I have had some people return to me, stating that my guestbook did not work right. So I have put a new guestbook in. I hope you will enter a small greating in it before leaving - so I can see that it works ;)) Sigrid Saxegaard was her on a visit, and brought her camera. New photos of Bentley and Fie. I am happy to tell that I have found Muffe a new happy home . She has gone to live with Helene and John , and their 2 nice children in Sandnes. Thank you for taking really good care of our little one. I miss her everyday.

	This year’s kittens for sale have now left the nursery and left are the promising future for my breed. My beautiful Muffe, her half sister Fie - from Lavanja's Cattery, and lovely Susi are all youngsters and hold the kee for the next step ahead. I am very much exited to see what happens next. As many of you know - you NEVER know with me ;)) My lovely Felix Fumbles have now left Norway to live the good life with Ciska, at the Cattery of Sint Agatha's in Rotterdam, Holland To Ciska and Jeanette - Thank you very much for a nice weekend. We will surly meet again. It was hard to see him go, but I know you love him as much as I do. And he is in a very very good place now :) Thank you. And the playfull Happy is with her famely not to far from here, and always welcome back for a playdate with Muffe and Fie. Thank you to Linn Folgø as well for making sure she will be spoiled to:) Thank you.

	New photos taken of the kittens and Fie. The kittens are now 10 weeks old and Fie is 15 weeks. They are all doing really well :) To see photos have a look at the kittens sigt and litters. All kittens now have homes, but I do still have some planes so if you are intrested in a kitten from us- please make yourself known:)
